World Art Day Celebration at KWS – A Kaleidoscope of Creativity

On April 15th, Khaitan World School came alive with colour, imagination, and artistic flair as we celebrated World Art Day in honour of the legendary Leonardo da Vinci. The day served as a powerful reminder that art transcends boundaries and inspires creativity across all ages.

Our youngest learners from Nursery to UKG participated in a vibrant Art Party, where they explored painting, vegetable printing, sand play, and water play. These sensory activities ignited their curiosity and allowed them to freely express their budding creativity.

The primary and middle school corridors transformed into an artistic haven. Students from Grades 1 to 4 showcased their skills in an exciting Inter-House Art Competition, adding a splash of friendly rivalry to the festivities. Grade 5 students turned heads by dressing up as iconic artworks, turning the school hallways into a living, breathing art museum.

In the senior grades, the celebration took a more interdisciplinary turn. Grade 6 students blended mathematical precision with artistic insight through a Mandala Art workshop, while Grade 7 explored the world of textures and visuals through collage making. Grade 8 students ventured into the realm of documentary filmmaking, using the medium to tell stories that matter.

World Art Day at KWS was more than just an event—it was a celebration of expression, culture, and innovation. At KWS, we believe in nurturing creativity every day, empowering our students to view the world through an artistic lens and express themselves with confidence and originality.
