The Khaitan World School celebrated its 1st Independence Day, marking the 75th Independence Day with its parent body. The day started with flag hoisting, followed by a medley by the KWS team. All stakeholders enjoyed kite flying and basketball match together.

The school has a fully equipped 2- bed infirmary with an experienced day nurse. In addition, the school has a medical tie-up with near by hospital to handle any medical emergency.

As KWS prepares for the upcoming session, the Khaitan Family, including Mr Anirudh Khaitan and his sisters Ms Shruti Tantia and Ms Shradha Bindra, our Director Projects, Mr Asheesh Kumar Sharma and his family and staff, came together to perform Bhoomi Poojan and sought blessings from the almighty last Sunday.

On May 21st, KWS’s first learning cycle came to an end. During this first cycle, the students adjusted well to the school schedule and participated in a wide range of learning activities.

Our Literacy Coach, Ms Peggy Sood, demonstrated the guided reading routine to be followed in KWS classrooms for teachers. The real-time classroom training is part of our Professional Development Program, helping teachers to make reading exciting & accessible to all.

KWS organised a curriculum induction for all our parents last week. The induction took them through “The Balanced Literacy curriculum”, wherein Ms.Peggy Sood (Literacy Coach) took them through a guided reading session, helping them understand how literacy class happens at KWS.
