National Sports Day Celebration at Khaitan World School

Khaitan World School commemorated National Sports Day with great enthusiasm, honouring the legacy of hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand. The event, held at the school’s Skating Rink, brought together students from Grades 5 to 9 for a vibrant and engaging assembly.

The celebration began with a thoughtful address by the School Sports Captain, setting the tone for the day by highlighting the importance of discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship. Students then pledged a solemn oath, reaffirming their commitment to fair play and teamwork. The atmosphere grew more dynamic with a powerful martial arts demonstration that showcased the skill, focus, and determination of the participants.

The highlight of the programme was a dynamic showcase of Taekwondo, where students demonstrated agility, strength, and precision. This was followed by an energetic martial arts performance and a spirited tug of war, both of which drew loud cheers and encouraged camaraderie among teams. Each activity reflected the values of unity, resilience, and passion that sports instill in young learners.

The programme concluded with heartfelt appreciation for the efforts of all students who participated, ensuring the success of the event. The celebration was not only a tribute to India’s sporting heritage but also an inspiration for students to pursue excellence with dedication and integrity.
